I'd stick with Yahoo Instant Messenger, whilst the quality may only match that of a phone, it's considerably easier than MSN.
Alternativly, you could always check the MSN pages for more information, I know it is possible, but not sure exactly how.

i am not really sure about that but i think u have to sign in and then i think u can talk with msn user but i dont know full details let me know too if you knew how to talk to a user.

goto msn and sign up and get the new msn messenger (its free) u can use it messaging,txt,webcam and voice

Hi. Just off hand and I'm no comp. geek, you can subscribe to a few 'talk' thingies, SKYPE being one and BT have just come up with something similar.
