Certainly Not!!! I had my second daughter at the age of 34 & my older daughter was 6 1/2. Even though I didn't plan on having a second child at that age or having the age difference between them (I had some problems conceiving the 2nd time around) it's worked out well. I'm a much more relaxed mom the 2nd time around, my older daughter loves her sister, & I don't have 2 small children that I have to watch like a hawk - just the one! Not to mention - all of the help I get from my older daughter.

In my opinion yes 35 is too old and 7 years is too much. I am 31 with a 7 year old and would never dream of doing the baby thing again. I am too old and love my sleep, freedom and my current family dynamics.
But just because it's my opinion doesn't make it right. Plenty of people don't have children until there 30s. They seem to be okay. Have you talked with your child to see how he/she would feel? This should be a family decision as it affects everyone.

My mom had me at 27 and had my little brother when she was 35. There is 8 yrs between us and we are fine. I mean yeah we do fight sometimes but that's what brothers and sisters do. He looks up to me a lot and if my mom needs me to talk to him about something I can because he is more comfortable talking to his sister about things than his mom. But he is still close to our mom. So I guess to answer your question I think 35 is a great age to have another baby and 7 yrs is not too much of an age difference.

Your question? is a bit vague.
I had my last child at 35+. His sister was 10 years younger, his brother 3 1/2. I felt a little like you, but I wouldn't give any of them up for the world. I was considered a high risk pregnancy due to my age, but it went on relatively unremarkably. All are healthy, thank God.
Why would you question this? It is completely your decision to have a baby or not. What difference does an opinion of anyone's on this site matter?
Congratulations. Many women would give up a lot to be you.

No 35 is not to old. I am 38 and had a beautiful baby boy this past january. I wouldn't trade him for the world. And is 7 years between the two to old, I would say not. My oldest is 21 and my youngest is 6 months. I never in my life thought I would go ahead and have another baby. Well let me tell you he has brought nothing but joy to us, so go ahead and have your baby. good luck to you.

If you're talking healthwise, I believe the age they say is too old for a mother to have a baby is 40, so you're still okay, there. One of my best friends in junior high and high school had a younger sister who was 12 years younger than she was, and that was fine, but it would really depend on whether you think your seven-year-old could handle suddenly not being an only child anymore.

Okay, the best two answers I EVER heard to this question were: 1) Oh, we're having lots of fun practicing right now 2) Well, we must be doing something wrong...I guess we'll have to keep at it. Usually shuts them up. :) I have a 1 year old, and people starting asking me when we were having another one BEFORE her first birthday. And before we were pregnant with her, one of my nieces asked every time we saw her if we were pregnant. It was so annoying.

I don't think so. Your 7 year old would probably love to help you out care for the baby and bond with you and the baby. Let your 7 year old know that your love for him/her has not changed with the coming of the baby.

I am 47 years old and I have five children ages 15-11-9-9- and 4 so I started in my 30's no its not too late. I enjoy every second of my children's lives and found nothing about my age that keeps me from doing anything with them or enjoying anything about them! In fact because I was more mature I feel I make wiser decisions and am less likely to make self driven choices
