Sleep upside down like a bat. Some people just snore and there is little you can do about it. you can talk to your doctor about having your uvula removed but most insurances do not cover it.

Snoring can be very irritating or worse, a sign of sleep apnea. There is the option of surgery but many people do not like surgery. You can get a device called a CPAP device that you hook up to your face. It will stop snoring and sleep apnea.

Go and see the doctor - they will hopefully refer you to a sleep clinic where they will first check if there is anything wrong that is causing you to snore - in my hubbies case it was nasal polyps and he now has a nasal spray which he uses every night and, voila, I get some sleep at last!
Of course, it could be other problems, could be you are needing to shed a couple of pounds, could be allergies, problems with your pallet, the list goes on and on...

Sleeping with duct tape over your mouth trains you to breath through your nose and reduces snoring.

You can sleep next to a running chainsaw. It will drown out your snoring.

If you are overweight, then losing weight helps. If you are not, you may need to see a specialist in EAR NOSE AND THROAT. You may need some medications for swelling, or even possibly surgery.
If you are not sleeping well either, you may have "sleep apnea" where your throat closes and it causes you to wake often. You need to see your doctor about that and have a sleep study.
