I am very shy and i care a lot for her. She is one of my better friends. Growing up i havent been well liked by many people at all. We are both in the Drumline and we both love it. Basically we both love music. That is just something we have in common though. I just dont know how to ask cause i never have before and am very shy. I cannot stress enough how i am shy, have no confidence, and am a wuss. I also know for a fact that she likes another guy. Recently we have been talking a lot more so that is good. She is also worried about the guy she likes cause he is ignoring her. Is this a good thing. And how should i ask her? I know it will make me feel better to tell her or ask her. I just have no idea how.

Keep the focus on the music! When you are with this little darling just enjoy the things you have in common and each others company. If you do that, there will be no need to "ask" or "tell" her anything because you'll be glowing with the affections you have for her. Above all else....stay away from "downer" subjects and do not have conversations with her about other guys....who cares about them? Certainly not you!

Just ask her to go somewhere as friends. Invite her to a movie that you are really dying to see. Ask ask her to help you go shopping. If she accepts to this then you can make the next move and ask her for a dinner date or whatever comes next for you.

tell her if she really wants to know if the other guy really likes her she should go out with you to make him jealous.
show her the best time you can and try and grow something from there at least it will get you through the shyness

Just ask her when u guyz r hangin out. i guess its good that the other guy is ignoring her. now u hav a better chance with her.

ask her out in a note walk past her, stick it in her hand, walk away. she'll realize that its you she likes, not the other guy. if that doesn't work, leave a note where she'll notice it.
