"The Internet was created by the United States of America - a Christian nation [ref. 1, 2, 3] - and should not be used to spread anti-Christian, secular, or non-Christian propaganda and hatespeech. This is our Internet, and we should exercise our position as its owners and as the guardians of civilization to stop its misuse."

I agree completely... Instead it should be used only to spread hate about Muslims, gays, pro-choicers, atheists, liberals and anyone else who the 'guardians of civilization' dislike...

Haha...this is great!
1. The Internet isn't even a product of United States technology.
2. The United States isn't a Christian nation.
3. Stopping "anti-Christian propaganda" or "hate speech" anywhere is a clear violation of the First Amendment.

But I guess whoever wrote this isn't too concerned with their rights as a United States citizen.

My hand is obviously down.

I'm a Christian. But it's NOT practically possible to stop teachings against Christianity. The Internet is now a very open, global, free thing. Might have been invented by US's DoD, but I really wonder about this ownership thing today.
As far as US is concerned, look around yourself, it doesn't at all seem to be a true Christian nation. I'm not an American but I really wonder. Christianity brings with it many many things....not only a belief in God but also some codes of living morally. I think a very little percentage of Americans are really ethical Christians.

Check out the Constitution: we are not a Christian nation. In fact, there is no reference to a god or any supreme being in that entire document. (Don't quote the Declaration of Independence back at me: it's a nice document, but it is not the basis of our laws.)
The whole country is one big glob of Christian propaganda. We've got "In God We Trust" on the money. You swear on a Bible in court. "Under God" was added to the Pledge back in the commie-hunting 50's. There has to be some place for people who do not share these views to go. Where is anybody going to get another side to this story when they're surrounded by this and have been brainwashed since childhood? We do NOT have an official religion here, and those who don't believe as you do are just as much citizens as you are, and quite frankly are keeping closer to what the Founding Fathers had in mind than you and your holier-than-thou crowd.

Ha Ha Ha.! Well computers could not have been possible without binary sytem which in turn would not have been possible without the decimal numbering system. Since Hindus discovered the decimal numbering system Internet should not be used to spread anti Hindu propagnda. America is full of all kinds of people. 50 % people in NASA are from non-Christians backgrounds. Many parts of modern computer and internet was dicovered in Europe, Japan, South Korea etc. The argument is extremely stupid. It's like saying, we should criticize Germans for envioronment pollution because the invented the automobile.

The internet is about the free and open exchange of ideas. No subject should be forbidden no matter how distasteful it is. The free market rule should apply. If no one patronizes a site, it will shut down. I may not agree or like many of the things on the internet, so I use my ability to choose to not view the ones that I dont want to see.

I consistently wondered how Bedding Barn continues to be in company. that is close by the position I stay, and been there for over 30 years. that is in a terrible area, and there are many different places to purchase. larger shops, larger and better names, or perhaps better small agencies that promote furniture contained in the realm. yet Bedding Barn has endured as an entity likely with no end in sight. Who the hell buys crap at Bedding Barn?!? The evangelical haunted homestead is the Bedding Barn of haunted homes. i'm stunned they have not had to administration "we want sweet" riots.

I don't believe that at all. Since the US Constitution barrs the government from endorsing any one religion over another we are not a christian nation. We are a nation of religious freedom.

When the Internet was introduced, it was far removed from a Christian nation.
The US also had black slaves, should blacks not be allowed to use the Internet?
Women had no rights, should we not be allowed to use it?

The Internet was NOT created by America, it was created by a guy, maybe he was not Christian.

The Internet should not be used to spend Christian propaganda. Not everyone wants to hear or read it.
