You first have to love yourself. Love is something that you can not truly shower on others until you have first learned how to love yourself. Love is something that has to live. It dwells in you. We often confuse ourselves into believing that if we only had someone to love it would make us complete. There is absolutely no truth in that. You will find your self completely turned off by the other person and the relationship will not work. You will need to be in touch with yourself. Ask yourself a few questions.
1) Have you accepted all that is good and bad with you
2) can you be alone with out being lonely
3) How much baggage are you carrying. Go back to the age of 5.
Once these issues are no longer an issue for you, you will be free to love.

What you do is quit looking and dedicate yourself to the welfare of others. And all of a sudden, one day love will come along and smack ya right in the face. Yo - selfish people always have more trouble finding true love. Oh, you gots enough money you can buy all you can handle of sex - but that does not translate into love except on the most shallow of bases.

I guess you just go day to day & try to make it through. I have my children & I fill my life up with caring for them. Everybody keeps saying stop looking & love will find you when you least expect it. Don't believe it - that's a lot of b.s.
