if jesus is the only way to heaven then where did all the other religious people go before jesus's time?

i really think christians really need to think this question over and think about first and i will say that the bible is only about 4000 years old and there are religions that date back 25,000 years ago.

for those of you who think i am a atheist which i am not. i am a pantheist/spiritualist who knows what god is to me and those who follow faith over a spiritual understanding you have no idea how fake the bible really is and i know for a fact the bible is only 4000 years old or less

acoording to christians some say hell others say a waiting place. I say BS and I also think that they are attacking Hindus and Buddhists out of jealousy because most christians deconvert and where do they go from there? they go to Hinduism and Buddhism.

God is the beginning and the end. He was here before anything was here. He has always existed. People worshiped God. People worshiped God, but they also worshiped false idols. Jesus came to redeem us of our sins. To show us how to live a holy life. There were people before Jesus time who were religious, but they have no place with the father because they participated in rituals that were not of God. There are some such as Abraham, David, Moses whom God was well pleased with and have a place with God. The bible is a book inspired by God. He used the authors of the bible as a guide on how to live our lives. There are other books that have been written, but were destroyed. There are some books that do not go into the bible because they were not inspired by God. No one knows when this world began, but I truly believe that God has and will always be here

Anyone with some sense can see this fundamental flaw with Christian belief. When Christians came to my country(India) they saw our religion(Hinduism) and said that we should convert because our religion is full of "unscientific" mythology. After reading the Bible I feel like laughing every time I read the above sentence. The Bible is also a book of mythology full of fairy tales and unscientific theories. Of course, it has lot's of moral values and other good stuff in it but it definitely cannot be the true word of "God". Jesus is not the only way, if that was the case everyone born before 0B.C are in Hell. What kind of injustice is that? If they are in Heaven it must be true that Jesus is not the only way.

well First of all there is no provable history that anything goes back more than 10,000 years. And carbon dating is not proof, it is not accurate at all..
If you really want a answer to the question where the people went instead all of this foolishness that is being written:
Everyone that was saved before Christ (old testament believers, not christians yet) waited in a place called Abrahams bosom, it was a place of waiting for the death and resurrection of Jesus.. Below is just on verse of this story of the rich man and Lazarus. If you really want to know then go to the bible and read it. Everyone from Adam & Eve until the resurrection of Jesus were waiting. Nobody went to heaven before Jesus.
Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Those before Christ who followed the Jewish God, went to a place the Bible mentions as Abraham's Bosom. When Jesus was crucified he went down and brought those souls with him to Heaven.

Unfortunately all other souls from the past 6-10 thousand years (the age of the Earth), will not be present in Heaven and I assume will be in Hell.

Well Jesus has always existed if you know anything about Christianity you would know we believe in the father son and holy spirit. Jesus is the living word of god K. Now to answer your question we were all comdemned until God sent his only son as a sacrificial lamb to atone for our sins. K. Now as for your 25,000 there is no scientific proof that there earth is millions of years old only theory. But their are facts that Jesus existed K.

I think you should read the BIBLE. Since the begening of creation the mankind believes in the Triune God. Jesus is the manifestaion of the Triune GOd. Bible is not just 4000 years old. How did you count that?

The gates of Heaven were closed before Jesus' death and Resurrection with the only possible exceptions being Enoch and Elijah.

But for the people who were blessed enough to live in the time that Jesus walked the earth, when they looked at Jesus, they were looking at Heaven itself.

the ppl before Jesus are exempt. they were judged simply by how good of a person they were. That time was used by God to really observe man's behavior so that all this would be included in the Bible. Post Jesus ppl will be judged by the book.

The prediction of a "Messiah" is as old as Judiasm - much older than 4,000 years.
