I am not due to start until the third of July. I had just gained a few pounds and thought I would take the test. My husband and I have three other children and I always have symptoms. I don't have any symptoms yet.

Well guys....NOT pregnant. So even though the test was positive my period came close to schedule. So does this mean chemical pregnancy? Or failed test? My husband and I did realize during these few days that we DO want a fourth child...So we will keep trying til the test reads positive and IS! Thanks for the input!

There's always a chance the test is wrong. Definitely make an appointment with your doctor for a blood test to know for sure. Every pregnancy is different. Both times I was pregnant, I found out I was pregnant before I got any kind of symptoms, and 3 weeks after I would find out would come the morning sickness, headaches, etc.

ALSO..I remember now that for my first pregnancy test, I only took the test because I did not know if I was late or not, and to be on the safe side my doctor said I should take a test. I laughed. It came out positive! But it ended up that I wasn't even late yet..I took the test a week before my period was even due and it had already come out positive. Hope this helps, and congrats to you!

You can feel different with 3 preganancies and feel one way another one, that is very normal. You may not feel preganant but maybe you aren't that far along, you did say you weren't due to start til this monday. The digital pregnancy test are supposed to be just as accurate which is very accurate if dont correctly, just as much as a regular one. Best suggestion would set up an appointment with your doctor or local BETA office, and see if theirs comes back positive, it wouldn't hurt you need to see the doc anyway, weither you are or aren't. Good Luck!!

Yes. The test may say it's 99.9% accurate but if you read the fine print you'll see that depends on when you take it usually if you take it more than 5 days before your expected period the accuracy decreases greatly.
If you want to know for certain either wait until a few more weeks or head to the doctor.

seriously doubt that its wrong because it extreamly uncomman to have a false postative, the test is reading ur hcg levels and hcg levels are pretty much only in ur body when your pregnant. if you don't believe the test take another one or get a blood test but i bet your pregnant HCG can be produced abnormally by certain tumors, especially those that develop from an egg or sperm (germ cell tumors). Therefore, hCG levels are usually tested in a woman who may have cancer of the ovaries or abnormal tissue growing in her uterus (molar pregnancy) instead of a normal fetus.

Check the test package for it's rate of accuracy. It's not 100%, I'm sure.

However,
I'd start thinking of names if I were you. I have four children and that last one has always been a mystery to me--I can't remember even having a decent conversation with his father the month he was conceived, much less starting a baby with him!

The test COULD be wrong but there is more chance that it is correct. Maybe the feeling of pregnancy will come later.

Its more common for a test to be wrong when It says negative. Its hard for it to be wrong with a positive. I would go to your Dr. and have a blood test done, that way you will know for sure.

They can give a false negative but not a false positive. All pregnancies are different and maybe this one is going to be mild, if you're lucky. If you still don't believe it, you can go to the doctor and take one there.
