I like both but it depends on the bread and the way the egg is cooked.
Home made bread is delicious and if it's spread with olive oil and herbs it is wonderful.
I love the egg inside a pork pie. I don't like scrambled egg or omelettes all that much. A softly boiled egg can be great for breakfast.
Do you often wonder about such things?

Single/double fried eggs (preferably 2) with crisp, dry and hot bread toast. Dietitians advice is to avoid the eggs, but, say once in the week, shouldn't really harm.

Actualy, I prefer to have them together, but if I have to choose, Then Fresh baked bread, right out uf the oven, with some butter on it is Yummy! 'course a fried egg sandwich is delicious too!

Definitely bread unless eggs are well disguised, say in stuffed french toast or a really good omelet.

Well actually my dear i like both but to that you have to add fried, bacon and sausages, then some grilled fresh tomato's with poached eggs and toasted bread with a nice cup of tea yummy yummy sounds like heaven

If I'm making toast then I'll have bread, because you can't make toast using eggs!!! And if i'm making scrambled eggs then I'll use eggs, because you can't make scrambled eggs with bread!!!
