you really need to check with the humane society. if they dont think tht your dog would be the type of rescue dog tht they want, they might let you have a dog for about 8 months and you get to teach it everything. After the 8 month period is over, you have to hand it back to the humane society and they test it to see if you trained it well enough to be a real rescue dog. If you did train it well enough, you know tht the dog is out somewhere helping other humanes in the world tht are less fortunate than you. Usually the average rescue breeds are german shepards or labs.

It's actually much more complicated than you would think. If you are serious about making that sort of commitment, call a professional trainer, otherwise, you can just train your dog in tracking and compete as a sport.

See if you can contact someone in your area that specializes in the rescue work with dogs. I would start by contacting local law officials, and see who they use when they need such work, and see if you can get in touch with them.

let your dog face the dangerous things, when he'll understand what is danger/problem & how to escape from that,, then u can try to teach him "how to do rescu work".
got it????? if not, then try this out......
throw your dog in a swiming pool & see if he can swim or not,, if he can then u can proceed,,, otherwise let him drown, because he is not eligible to learn.... wanna send me something about ur experience??? then mail me at arka20022002@yahoo.co.in
