If it is for kids, I have a kid friendly trail mix that they love. The best part is you can use whatever you have around. I usually mix a couple kinds of cereal (Cheerio's, Chex, Kix, etc.), mini pretzels, raisins, nuts, marshmallows (thats the part the kids really love) and any other bite size item you can think of into a large container (best if it has a lid). Then, whenever the kids want a snack, they can grab a little cup, ziplock back or napkin and they have a snack.

Also good are fruit. I like the apple slices and carmel dip. For grown ups, everybody loves my chili/cheese dip. I mix one block of cream cheese w/ a large can of chili in a sauce pan. It looks gross, but it is divine. There is also cream cheese on celery (also good with a bit of dill mixed in the cream cheese.

I have also been known to make "Rice Crispie" treats using Fruity Pebbles or Cocoa Pebbles (also fun to use cookie cutters and make shapes). Or you can bake a gingerbread or spice cake and slice it up (or a yellow cake, my kids love that even without frosting). Yum!

I have a great granola recipe that I make for my fiance. I put the link below. I add other things and omit some stuff. My fiance doens't like raisins, so after it is done baking I split it up and put raisins in mine but not his. I add reese's pieces sometimes. Just different kind of candies. Different varieties of nuts. Any kind of dried fruit. Make it however you wish. I use this just as a basic recipe. I do not put coconut in mine though, yuk! Enjoy!
Here, just in case the link doesn't work.

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup cashews
3/4 cup shredded sweet coconut
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, coconut, and brown sugar.
In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, oil, and salt. Combine both mixtures and pour onto 2 sheet pans. Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to achieve an even color.
Remove from oven and transfer into a large bowl. Add raisins and mix until evenly distributed.

You should go out and buy some fresh fruit(like 5-7 different kinds). Also pick up a regular size thing of cream cheese and 1 container of marshmallow fluff. When you get home chop up the fruit and then mix the cream cheese and fluff in a bowl(with an electric mixer. The cream chees/fluff stuff is an awesome fruit dip for fresh sliced fruit! I hope this helped and ENJOY!!!!!

No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies are always good.

My little sister makes "pita pizzas" that are pretty good! She uses the mini pita bread circles, puts some spaghetti or pizza sauce from a jar right on top of the bread, and then sprinkles on some cheese! You can put them in the oven for a few minutes, microwave them for a few seconds, or just eat them cold!

Spread cream cheese on dried beef (it comes in jars at the supermarket), and then wrap that around thin slices of dill pickle. Easy to make and tasty if you like salty treats.

I love "diarrhea dip" it is way simple. Log o' Velveeta cheese, 4 cans of chili no beans, chop up cheese into little chunks for quicker melting and put it all in a crock pot until melted. Serve with tortilla chips. Yummy!
