Hon, I learned that one late in life--hopefully this message will hit you sooner than I was privileged to learn it:
LOVE is ACTING in the BEST INTEREST of the one loved.
Anyone who consistently DOES that DOES LOVE you, anyone who does NOT, well...............
Best wishes. Find a wonderful life! :)

Sometimes you have to trust your instincts.
You are probably under the age of 18, as a result of that you have not had enough experience to figure out the true meaning of love.
Most men confuse lust for love. Then they get married and find out lust can wear off.
Love is a part of you that needs to feed as much as it gives.
One sided love is just that. It too will diminish without nourishment.

from the level of comfort u feel in their presence and vice versa
from the way they look at u wen u r not looking
from the many sacrifices big and small they make for u everyday
okay enuf philosophy....practically speaking there IS a way to get into a guy's head and figure out how much he likes u....a series of tests
one, wen u r talking sitting across from each other, casually remove ur watch and put it on the table. if he picks it up, BINGO(trick - what he does to the watch is what he wants to do to u)
two, have a pic taken together, if his arm is on ur waist he's fooling around, if around ur arm, he wants to be taken seriously
three, offer him candy/gum/whatever...watch what he does with the wrapper.....if he throws it away....bad...if he fiddles with it...bingo
four, wen u r leaving a restaurant, xcuse urself to the ladies room, ask him to wait....wen u come back if his body (esp feet) r pointing towards u...BINGO
five, compliment him on his shoes.....if he brings them closer for a better look....Bingo
Finally, do lemme know if i can help more

hi there is no way to assure that some one really loves you ( think about the actors who easily show how to love widout loving )..............90 % of the time we think about ourselve (so love will be thinking about 50 % about the other people ) ....but again to count that figure is difficult ........ one golden rule ...just give relation some time ( artificality does'nt survives long ) ...............and if you love somebody ( first contain ...then reveal ......) ..........when somebody loves its shows ( but be cautious of actors )

Honestly, you never will. Just when you think you know, they tell you they cheated on you. When you think they don't, they make an unbelievably unselfish jester. It's just a feeling.

Your instinct and not your judgment on the person would let you know. It's the unspoken language.

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me is...
(L)isten: and Validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
