When I had to pay $5 a day for parking, I took the bus. But since the nearest bus stop to my house is the park and ride 5 miles away, and work is only 12 miles away, and in the wrong direction so the bus still had to drive12 miles to get me to work AND I drove my car 5 miles, I am not sure how much it helped the environment. Now I have free parking at work and drive my own car all the way again. But it is a Honda Civic, not an SUV, so that helps a little.

No, they could desire to no longer. those varieties of effects influence the working type to a much greater severe degree than needed, and that they are the folk maximum normally forced to commute and are in desire of less costly transportation. If fees have been to be raised, i could propose a different team of shoppers- together with a commercial airline. They use somewhat a lot of gasoline, and a upward push could influence fee ticket holders below drivers. Or we ought to do away with NASCAR. Why waste extravagant quantities of gasoline for dozens of autos to spin circles for hours? And think of of how lots air pollutants could be prevented!
