There is not a certain place to meet new people now that you are single. You have to go outside of you comfort level. Just try going to places that you normally wouldn't go..for example museums, festivals, health clubs, networking things like that....

With on-line personal ads, I met 2-3 guys (for coffee) a week for about 2+ years. In that time, I met 5 that I liked enough to become friends with, and finally met a guy I've been with for 5 years. I also became friends with a couple women living in my town.
Personal ads work if you know how to work them, instead of letting them eat up your time.

grocery stores. when u see a guy shopping and has no kids or girl with him hes single. you could try the bars but then u end up with an alcoholic and nobody wants that.

Clubs, bars, school, coffee houses. Just get yourself out there. Try an online dating thing. It might work
