You make a BIG splash for a first timer.
I am always astounded at the viciousness of the righteous. Often I would say, there are worse things to believe in, but after your first response, I begin to wonder.
If you want proof that Jesus is real, if you have a Bible and you believe it is a historical account, then Jesus was real. However, If you believe it to be nothing more than a storybook, it does not necessarily prove that he was not real, only that non-factual stories were written about him. Even written history is based on faith. When everyone that experienced an event are gone, we have nothing that ties it to reality than faith that the history that we are taught is correct.
If you are seeking real answers, look in your heart and see what you want to believe. If you are trying to sway the believers or rattle a few cages, you are in for a bumpy ride.

Yes, there is independent evidence (outside the New Testament) that the historic Jesus did indeed exist. He was a Jewish Rabbi, a son of the (Royal) House of David, and the leader of a political and spiritual renewal movement. He was married (to Mary, the woman the Bible calls "the Magdalene") and had at least one child with her, a girl. All this is known and can be proven.
The circumstances of his death (or not) are blurred, and there is written material that places him as an old man in India. But there is no independent second source so far.
What is clear is that the Jesus the Bible tells us about is only a part of the real man. The Bible also contorts facts and spreads outright lies about him. It is therefore not trustworthy as a source. Using non-religious sources is much more effective and can lead to better and more truthful results.

Yes, there is a Roman document that claims they crucified a 'special jewish man' (sorry, not sure on exact wording) on/around the date of Jesus' crucifixion. This document is the only proof outside the bible that proves there was a Jesus. I honestly can't remember if he is named or not in the document, but I do know it has been given as historical proof Jesus lived. It definitely happened. The bible is also a historical account in many aspects.

If you really want a good place to start to examine the truth. Check out a book called "A Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. It can be a good starter to look at all the historic proofs. you will be amazed there is more evidence that Jesus walked the earth than Elvis. I hope you find what you are looking for.

That would depend on what you would ACCEPT as proof.
He was written about by non-Christians of his era.
Kinda hard to pinpoint his grave since A) there is no headstone to identify it or the contents and B) there is no body within it to forensically examine.
What we have are eyewitness accounts by several men whose reputations as decent men were reliable. Luke, for instance, tells us that much of his information was derived from His Mother, Mary. Either he's lying through his teeth, or she's lying through her teeth, or His Mother, who WOULD be in a position to know for sure if Jesus existed, was telling the truth.
BTW. How come nobody here has so far questioned the existence of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses?
And what about "PROOF" for the existence of Mohammed? What do we have besides the sayso of folks who lived in his time, met him and wrote about him? Are we to say then that Abraham & co. and Mohammed did not exist? That THEY are fairy tales, or myths, like the Greek Pantheon?
If so, then in 100 years or less, who will say that YOU existed? Because there's a headstone or a plaque? Ah, but these can be faked. Because you left progeny? Ah, but so did Abraham & co. and Mohammed.
Jesus left only followers, but face it, would YOU be willing to die a horribly painful death rather than say, "OK, OK, I'll drop incense on Caesar's altar" if you didn't believe in His existence and His message and His salvation with your whole being? Is that PROOF for you? I don't know. It works for me. That I DO know.

For every one that DOSE NOT BELEIVE: Jesus was a real person like you and me. He was pure and full of Love for every one. He was the son of God sent down from Heaven but not to condemn the world but the world through him might be saved. If you non believers want to really actually KNOW then read the Bible. It is best to read the New testement starting with the book of John. I hope that if you read the Bible you will see and know that Jesus was real. Jesus died to pay for YOUR sins. I would pray that after reading the Bible that you might believe and ask Jesus to save you from your sin.

Historically, there's no question. It's understood that some guy named Jesus was highly influential 2000 years ago. However, his position as the messiah and/or son of God cannot be proven.

Yes.
He was a Rabbi, married and had at least one child. As a son of the House of David, he was in fact a Jewish Prince. As such he had natural authority and became leader of a national movement.
