i have been on yahoo peronals for a long time but i dont get any replies from the ladies out there, i have sent lots of messages but got none back, i;m not tom cruise but i aint the elephant man either.

i think if you have updated and clear pics, be specfic what you want, state what you are looking for and be honest and open about yourself. you will get responses.

Probably because Yahoo personals are too damned expensive and people who don't pay can't do anything more than a stupid icebreaker. And all the above reasons are good too. If you've been on there a long time, change up your ad, put up a new picture. And use spell and grammar check. I won't respond to a guy who uses poor grammar and misspells things. And Tom Cruise is not that hot.

Maybe you're coming on too strong or sound desperate (which you do from this question, no offense). Cool things down and be patient, not every woman you send a message to will reply. Or maybe you're looking in the wrong place for love.

Maybe you can edit your profile or something. Make sure it is clear and grammatically correct. Have a female friend proofread it and offer some suggestions. Maybe it's not you at all sometimes people create a profile out of fun just to see what's out there and don't really intend to contact anyone. Hope it helps.

1. there are TONS more guys online (dating sites) than women creating poor odds for the fellas

4. online dating is verrrrry tricky, as MOST people create a fake personality to attract ppl that normally wouldnt look twice, so most women online are extremely sceptical.
5. get off the computer and LIVE LIFE! meet ppl in the real world!

have you ever seen how many profiles are on that thing. I start looking and get bored and stop. Just wait someone will find you. Maybe you should read what you wrote. The ones that are cheesy i never even look at. Good Luck!!!

Perhaps it is cliche to say that it is not looks that count? Maybe it is your blog/advertisement/shpeal. Check it out...look for bad grammar or spelling. Keep the funny stuff and picky-picky stuff to a minimum. The galls out there may just be reading it and thinking..."No way!"
