if they love eachother....can a good friendship become a great relationship if the two people are complete opposites....

I believe that i was a little too general with the "changes" part of my question, so here are more details....

What if what the woman was trying to change wasnt his personality or anything major that would take away from the man being himself?....let's say she just wanted him to just make "better choices", when it came to their relationship....

Like for example, he has chosen to not call the woman at least once a day....actually he once let days pass before he even called or txted to see if she was atleast alive....and what if the woman wanted him to make time for her?....which he never does...and what if she wanted him to show more affection and worry about her?....
Someone please tell me, can a woman influence/ change a man to be a better man to her???....treated as she desreves to be treated?.....

No. A man can only change himself.

This is good advice from a person with a wonderful relationship: You will figure out that you can change people, BUT they have to WANT to change. You said he loves you and you love him, make sure you are doing your part by not picking at things that are not important. Keep things simple in love. There should be no rules like "call once a day" - that is so silly! If he loves you, let him call when he wants to, it will be so much sweeter! Let your man do as he wishes, until he does something truly WRONG, then be there to explain what he did and how it made you feel without nagging/yelling. You could make him feel smothered by asking him to "make better choices when it comes to the relationship". You can ask someone to do this, but it probabley won't do any good. He will do it on his own if you treat him with love and respect. How can he feel like a real man if his woman is making all kinds of rules? Usually at times like these - we women make our own drama, maybe you should try not to need so much attention. I realized alot of my "relationship problems" were of my own making and if I didn't stop I would lose a really great guy - don't let that happen to you either! Hope I helped some sweetie! The Love you take is equal to the Love you make!!!

personally i think a man can change for the better for the girl he loves. But it doesn't always seem to work that way. One of my friends has been trying to get her b/f to make better choices, but he's stayed the way he was, which hurts her. I don't think a woman can force a guy to change his ways, the guy has to want to change that himself. If this guy isn't treating you the way u deserve to, i doubt he'll change anytime soon.

If only the world had more women like the one you have, we would have no problems. You guys sometimes need guidance and someone to show you love that you have never experienced. Women have this in them naturally. And if you experience this, then, you have yourself a damn good woman. She has effected your life, but it took you, to change your way of life. No one did it for you. It was a decision you made, because of her morals. Wish I could get a man like you to realize that a woman has blood and not just water. She has feelings and need to be apprecited. We are not rag dolls you know.

Thanks for sharing this with us though. Take care.
