My mother can attest to all diets she has tried - it is best to eat small or moderate portions multiple times a day as much as 10 times. Exercise is important to reverse the fat storage process and yes cut way down on fried fast foods and sweets occasional treat will not hurt- and do not eat any large amounts before bedtime.

I lost 25 lbs in a year. It is not good to lose it to fast but exercise was a key in keeping my weight off and reducing the soda pop and fried foods. Walking at least half a mile each day and climbing a lot of steps did it - even bicycle riding . Take it easy at first an build up to your goal. Limit off the TV watching and just relax when you are truly tired

Diet and Exercise. There is no real fast way to take weight off and be able to keep it off. Unless you are a crack head and that's just not a good idea. The suggested weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. You will be more likely to keep the weight off then. Good Luck

It doesn't work immediately, but the diabetic diet is good for you and I've lost more weight on it than I ever did on any fad diet. Basically, you eat what's on the food pyramid, spread out over three regular meals and three snacks. At breakfast, eat a fruit, 30 carbohydrates (usw. 2 pieces of bread or 3/4 c. cereal, or check the labels for the equivalent) and 8oz of milk or a container of yogurt. For a morning snack, eat a piece of fruit. At lunch, eat 3 oz. of meat (about the size of a deck of cards), 2 carbs, vegetables (2 c. raw or 1 c. cooked), and a fat (2 tbsp of dressing or a pat of butter. In the afternoon, eat a fruit and a milk. At supper you get 4 oz. of meat (About the size of your palm), another vegetable (same size) 30 carbs, and 2 fats. You get 15 carbs as a snack at night. Before I got lazy about it, I lost 40 pounds in about 6 months.

Frankly speaking, there is no such "diet" that can reduce weight fast. The best and most effective way would b 2 exercise regurarly. B a bit careful while taking those diet pills though.

I know what to do! Ok It worked for me! What I am about to tell you really works!!

For 1 week eat soup for every meal. But do your day normally.

Drink a lot of cold water. It takes up too 300 calories off your body for every 12 oz's of cold water you drink. make sure you use at least 8 ice cubes.

In a week doing this you can lose up to 12 pounds!!!

Best Of Luck Joe

I can relate!

I'm trying the Shangri La diet, and it's working quickly. Basically, you eat what you want. Wait an hour and eat or drink nothing but water. Take either two tablespoons of extra light tasting olive oil or two tablespoons of sugar (not splenda) in as much water as you want (I do mine hot, but you can do cold). Wait an hour and eat or drink nothing but water. Then eat whatever you want again.

It resets your body's "set point" so your appetite goes down. Sounds crazy - but it is working for me!

candy, cookies, snacks. Eat mostly vegetables and fruit
and only one helping. Drink lots of water.
