Well unless you hit the jackpot of knowing someone who knows someone, who has this friend that has this cousin...... lol.... But anyhow... what you may want to do is shift to skill. There are alot of clinics here in NC sponsored by NC Fish and Wildlife. At alot of those clinics, you will also find people who own thier own ponds. That gives you a two way venue.... you can work on improving your angling skills and meet people who may have thier own ponds.

Generally unless you talk to people who live near where you are... it's a no dice game. You can also take a "Sunday Drive" around your area... when you see a pond that looks like it may have potential.... stop and ask. The worse thing that can happen is that they say no. I have done it lots of times and it has paid off well over the years.

Good luck and Happy fishing!!

Lake Norman in Mooresville; Lake Badin around Albemarle I think: Lake Wylie; Lake James (up in Marion, NC) Don't know if these helped you but I tried.

I wish I could help you find a new fishing hole. I hope that is what you are looking for. And if you are, send me an e-mail.. I am looking for a female fishing buddy, my wife would be so pleased to have me stop bothering her she wouldn't even care if we had an affair..lol Good luck in your search...
