In all honesty, the best pickup line is not using one at all because there more than likely isn't one that we haven't heard. Chances are, she is just going to give a "no he didn't" kind of look and turn her attention to guy on the other side of her. Women are smart and confident and they don't fall for the cheesey mushy stuff anymore. You have to be smart and confident in yourself. We want someone who is going to intrigue us intellectually and make us melt without even trying. So my advice is. Talk to her like you're completely comfortable in that position and are already acquaintances.

Pickup lines are for trying to get in a girls pants! If you not be honest with her when you see that girl across the room and your heart screams walk up to her and tell her say hi and tell her she is the most beautiful woman in the world, tell her she smells like a 1,000 fresh cut roses, and her hair is softer than satin and swear that you caught a glimps of heaven in her eyes, women love the truth besides no need to play games if you like her show her say what your heart says!!

Do girls really go for pick up lines anymore? I don't, they just annoy me. They say to a girl that you are trying to run a game, and your own personality is not enough to get a girl's attention. Drop the lines and be yourself. You'll have better luck.

Dude, be yourself and just say hi my name is..... that works best on a real woman. It's okay to say those things to your girlfirend to get a laugh out of her, but upon meeting someone for the first time unless you liked to be laughed at and possibly have a drink thrown at you....do not use a pick up line, it's just cheesy and creepy.

I honestly don't see how any of these lines would actually work...unless you aren't trying to pick up any intelligent girls. I think your best bet is to just walk over, introduce yourself and see where things go...that's what works best with me. If a guy tries a lame pick up line with me....he gets rejected...quickly.
