A lot of designers use software is called "Computer-Aided Design (CAD/ CAM)". There are a variety of them on the market, just do a web search on CAD/CAM or Computer-Aided Design or go to a software supplier and pick the one that does what you need it to do.

I don't know about the other shapes but you could plug in the pythagorean theorem into regular hip and gable roofs. Then divide the surface by 100 square feet for 3 bundles of regular shingles. I believe it takes 4 budles of archetect shingles to make a 'square' 10 ft. x 10 ft.
I don't know about the website sorry.
Sounds like a good website to work on though.
Why don't you go get a good trig or geometry book? Find the area, divide by 100 and depends on the type of shingle as to how many bundles you'll use to calculate the amount and price.
The rise will be 'y' and 'x' will be the horozontal. This is the kind of math I love. The best is vectoring as in water navigation and artillery.
Good luck!
