Sure. I have met people online that have become really good freinds. Unfortunately I have not met a love interest. Congratulations to you for meeting that special someone. I don't feel it is about where you meet but who you meet.
I think people are still shady and scarry about being online even though most of us are online in one shape or form, possibly more so than out at other social events that would allow for us to meet others romantically. Clubs have gotten a really bad rap of meeting wrong people.
I think that if people would go with thier gut, don't move to fast, get to know the person through emails, then phone, and then meeting, taking your time then you can meet someone wonderful online. That to me is the advantage of meeting online because you get to talk with them before you meet.

Congratulation. But now you are still on the net. Are you looking for someone else? Are you taking a risk to meet another smart looking guys on Yahoo? I would like to thank the Internet too for giving me the opportunity to meet a girl like you. But my success rate might be so small. If you want to change it to support the Internet meeting, then just write me.

I have spent almost a year looking for my pretty girl online, and oh the philipinos and ruskies that want into the states! It is my sincere effort, and I believe in it. Why? Beause the webb gives global access, why search the town when I can surf the earth? Plus, the web allows a little more intamcay and getting to know one another with out sexual attraction being forefront. Glad to know you found sucess, now it's my turn.

Congratulations ,i have friends who have met their b/f g/f 's on the net and are very happy, but there is a downside and one we must not forget .Every year lots of people chidren and adults alike disappear after meeting dubious characters on the net ,if anyone here is planning on meeting up with someone they have met ,please please take some simple steps to ensure your safety, always let a friend or family member know where you are going ,what time you will be back and if poss make sure you carry your mobile, if you can take a friend with you the 1st few times all the better ,just think wisely before you meet up with a complete stranger but to all those who have met the love of their life or companion CONGRATULATIONS

I became close to another person just for chatting, we talked for about 8 months and decided to meet. It was the best thing it felt like we knew so much about one another so when we meet it was comfortable. We have been together almost a year now, and we don't get to see each other much but we spend hours every night chatting. I think you really get to see who the person is by the inside then just meeting them and wanting to chat because you think they are cute or whatever. :) I hope to become his wife!!!!!!!

I wouldn't, but then again I'm already married, so I guess I don't need to. If I needed to, I guess I would consider it.
