If u mean how long will beer sit unopened w/out going bad, it depends upon the kind of beer. Most domestic mass-produced beers are pasturized and will go bad within a few months. Alot of microbrews will go the distance and some are even meant for aging like a good wine. As for an already opened beer, drink it within a couple of hours, otherwise you should think about getting mini beers (6-8oz.). That way u won't have to worry it.

If you leave it in ice, the beer can usually make it about eight hours before there is a noticable taste difference. After that, you will be able to taste the difference, but the carbonation will still be there for about two days. At least that has been my experience behind a bar.

It doesn't start going flat until you open it. How long does it take you to get to the bottom of the can/bottle. If it takes that long, maybe you should pick another drink. :P

Allowing beer to go flat is equal to TREASON and may be punishable by death.
