That depends on what you mean by your question.
Are you asking specifically about things God has done or things that happen.
If you believe that everything that happens is God's work, then NO.
Absolutely not. As for specific works of God, you would need to be specific. I would need to know what works you are attributing to God to comment on them.

Yes, I do. Look at is this way: if God did anything for NO purpose, then He would be acting in an arbitrary, capricious way. This is completely against God's very nature.
Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
Note that God only promises what He does will work out well for those who love Him. Although He sometimes does good for unbelievers, there are no promises.

No I don't, but I believe in cause and effect. Every cause has an effect and sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. When it's good people say it was God having a plan.
There are things that happen to people that do not possibly have any purpose - losing a child is one of them. I have never heard anyone who lost a child know the reason their life was turned upside down.

I do! Even little stuff. Like getting stranded somewhere. I look at it this way. Say My car breaks down and i'm running really late for something important, obviously God didnt want me there for some type of reason. Maybe that extra five minutes i was held back, saved my life. If i had proceeded when i did maybe Another car would have sped across a light and killed me. Maybe...... God works in mysterious ways. I mean, just look at the state of this world! Its on the brink of destruction! I don't know God's plan, but, I'm sure he has one. (He should really fix the world though, its falling apart)

I do.
Actually, his WORD tells us as much also...
Read Romans 8:28 and Jeremiah 29:11
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 (NIV)
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
I think this endorses the concept that God allows/causes things to happen for a reason.
...we may not always understand why things happen the way they do (especially why he allows 'bad stuff' ) but in the end, he uses all of it to 'shape' us to be what HE INTENDED.
and God does discipline too - for our own good. (He's the perfect "Father!") We need to keep that in mind, when we seem to have suffered from consequences to bad decisions,etc...

If you are serving God, I do believe that everything you do and even go through, being good times, hardships, or whatever the cause, is part of His purpose for your life.

One verse in Romans 8:28 explains it all... All things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
so yes, God does all things for a purpose... for good :)

Absolutely. We may not agree with what occurred, but we must accept that God knows more than us and that what was done was for a just purpose.
With that said, please remember that God does not cause all things to happen. There are some things that he allows to happen, just as he allows our free will.

There's not god!, there's free will
why do some continue to think that there's a god(LOL)
STOP going to a brainwashing session, and start to think for yourself. Why give money to a church, what does this do for you
or others that may REALLY need it...?
so poor

He created and designed us for His purpose.
I think that purpose is to love and worship Him.
Be kind to others.
Tell everybody about Him.
You will be blessed.
