I personally could not go out with anyone other than an atheist. For me, the theistic view is so far removed from reality I would be unable to spend long periods of time with them, and I am sure my anti-religion rants would soon drive us apart. I would even struggle, I think, if my girlfriend had a religious family

Because you have such different views of the world. I'm not against dating someone out of my religion (which is Catholic) but I don't know if I could marry a non-Catholic. My friend tried to set me up with an Atheist and I just couldn't do it. I can't be with someone who doesn't believe in some kind of god.

I have, but from years of experience now, it makes marriage very hard. Much of how you run your life is related to the beliefs and morals of your religion (or lack of one). When the two mix, all you get is alot of friction.
I highly recommend not to marry outside of your own faith for harmony in the home.

Falling in love with anyone is not so hard, but spending life with him/her is if the faith is opposite. It depends upon how much you are in your faith. If you are a faithful person, then love of God is more important for you rather than the love of that person. That's why, when there are some things opposite to your faith in the person you are in love, you feel difficult to adjust, sometimes you feel helpless. At the end, you have to choose one of them, your faith or your love.

well to be honest i am sorry to say the least christians should only marry christians but it seems that is how it works. i dated a christian when i was a pagan it never worked out and now i am married to a pagan and i am a spiritualist so i think its only the christian religion that cant understand other peoples beliefs so they cant marry pagans or other beliefs..
look for love within your own christian religion it will save you a lot of heart ache trust me
