It takes a calorie defecit of 3,500 calories to lose one pound of fat. Your body needs 2,000 calories a day (approximately) to maintain your current weight. So if you scaled back calories, lets say to 1,500 a day, in one week you would lose exactly one pound. It's not easy, it's not quick, but it is guaranteed to work time and time again. There are no shortcuts, although excercise will help you to lose weight by burning off additional calories, helping you reach your 3,500 defecit quicker.

First it depends on How Chubby you really are. if you are 5'2" and 160 lbs. you're not chubby, you are ineveitably FAT. on the other hand if you are 5'2" and 120 lbs. you're not chubby either, you are to god damned skinny. if you are 5'2" and 130 lbs you are just right.

The point of diet and exercise is to lower caloric intake and raise caloric usage. If you want to burn more calories while just standing or resting lift weights, muscle burns more energy just standing. If you want to be leaned out, run. Stop drinking pop, you can have a little bit of candy/ sweets, but not to much. Eat letuce to burn more calories(it's harder for your body to digest). Run or walk the biggest point of that is to raise your heart rate and sustaian it for approximately 30-45 mins. drink water, drive on, it's the army way.

Sweetheart, being chubby is normal. You'll find most people are in the same boat. Skinny happens with models and self centered people. I'll bet you are very cute the way you are. Love yourself and the guys will flock to you.

Stop drinking sodas, drink water instead.
Also cut down on sweets and candy. This is a good start and when you are ready do some cardio(running, jogging, or biking)
And make a chart to track your progress, this will keep you motivated.
Good luck.

Eat what you want but not a lot of it. Eat half of whatever you order then set it aside. Don't fall for the diet stuff. Also, start walking a little everyday.
