im using acer travelmate 2300,and the processor is intel celeron M.the ram is256mb , 1.3ghz.please somebody tell how and what to do.

about all you can do with a laptop is add more ram and upgrade the hard drive. other than that a new laptop is the answer.

Unfortunately, your computer is not suitable for playing games! The processor is quite slow and there does not seem to be sufficient amount of memory in the notebook. I recommend that you either upgrade your system. If you are able to install a dedicated video card that would help. Also, look at adding additional memory to the system. However, if you want my total advice and honesty, get a new computer! Your system is a little "antiquated". This computer sales for about 400.00 at Dell. They call it their base system for people who want to email and surf the web. I think a system with a Pent 4 w/ HT technology or a Dual-Core processor would be great for you as well as atleast 512mb of memory to 1G. Hope this helps

Upgrade your RAM to 512 MB.
Defrag.
Make sure you have no adwares.
Buy an external drive to store all your applications.

it aint happenin, you can't easily upgrade a notebook...
you would need a video card first off for games.
