Try craigslist.org. This way you can be in contact with a multitude of consumers that may not necessarily frequent one of the shops you planned to take the dress too. Also, sien you won't have to pay anything to a consignment shop for displaying and selling your dress, you will get more money for it in the end.

I live in Ohio. I've taken stuff to consignment shops. I took my wedding dress to Goodwill. I didn't want the damn thing anymore. Bad memories!!!! lol
