Nausea and fatigue seem to travel with intense pain at times. The pain you are describing could be from muscle, especially if it feels like it is on the surface. If it feels deeper inside, try this, when you have someone there that can drive.

Press over the spot that hurts, deeply. If it does not hurt to press down, but it hurts when you release, it may be your appendix. Have your friend/relative drive you to an emergency room. It would also explain your nausea and fatigue.

If you are worried about the pain, nausea and fatigue - call a doctor. I would.

Did this come on suddenly or has it been progressive? Nausea, pain, vomiting on the right side just below the ribcage can also be the gallbladder. People most likely to have gallbladder problems = white women, 40ish, heavy set.

Nausea, sometimes fever, pain in the area you describe are symptomatic of appendicitis. Go to the doctor. If your white blood cell count is elevated he will know for certain. Good Luck !

Could be a kidney infection as they lie in your back just behind your waistline. Or, it may be a bout of Appendicitis, especially if it hurts when you push in and let go rapidly. Any fever? Go see your doctor. Pain is a message.
