Considering that "majority" qualifies as above 50%, I would agree that majority of the body builders are not "book-smart".
That is not to say they are not intelligent, because intelligence is a very subjective matter, and I'm sure many body builders are street-smart and can be experts in their field such as nutrition, exercises, health etc. Look at Arnold Schwarzenegger, he may not be book-smart, but he is intelligent enough to become a Governor of California!
Since they have to spend so much time in working out, they just don't have the time to sit and study to become book-smart.
Although, I've had a Biology Teacher in my college and he was book-smart and he had a body of the gods. Sexiest 60 year old specimen I've ever seen... and NO I'm not gay.

No that is not true.
There are very many factors, in body building that you always have to think about. What to eat and when, what exercises to do on what day, how long to rest, how much water to drink, and very much research and time goes into it.
We dont just go into the weight room grunt and pick up a weight.

no not at all i know a lot of body builders that are very smart some even with a PhD.

Mabye Some of them, But No.
Because Working out develops your mental.....um stuff so no. unless their career is in sports and they dont study

body buildin has no connection to the intelligence...it neccessitates to have grey cells to generate that muscle protein
