Unh, it would be rather difficult for Islam to guide the PRESENT world anywhere. Islamic customs and culture are about 700 years BEHIND the present.
The "vulgarity" of the west may not be the best, but from the available evidence, it certainly seems to be the most popular.
Even Communist China has fallen beneath the spell of a capitalistic lifestyle.
I always said that if you give people a way to make a decent living for themselves and a better, more secure future for their kids, they will flock to your door. Mao baby's boobery forgot that and now his bright idea languishes while rampant capitalism practiced with the true fervor of the recently converted is rapidly turning China into a western-style powerhouse. And good for them!
And just to satisfy my personal curiosity, what IS your concept of the "best direction of humanity"?

Both of them suck and are together leading humanity down a path of destruction. And I don't konw what volguness means.
