Need for salvation would be proof of god's impotence and incompetence.

Non sequitur.
If God does not exist then man has no need for salvation. It is man's poor exercise of his free will with regard to God's laws that condemned him. Without God, there would be no divine law to be broken, thus no way to break it, thus no need for salvation from the consequences of that action.
Get a grip. Better still, take a couple of courses in symbolic logic and semantic analysis.

No, that is not a logical argument.
No being, not even The Original Creator, is omnipotent or omniscient. Spiritual growth is all a matter of degree.
In my many years of experience as a spiritual medium and Solist Mystic, I have found that many have a distorted concept of what "God" is.
God is not a being. God is energy in the Spirit. God is the White Light that many Near Death Experiencers have reported seeing "at the end of the tunnel." The Light Of The God Force is infinite, nonliving, and governed by Universal Law which cannot be changed one iota.
When people think they are communicating with "God," what they are oftentimes doing is channeling a Group Entity that is posing as a deity. Many on the Other Side who are only basically spiritual (angels) or of common spirituality (subangels) love to combine their energies into a large Group Entity (of thousands and sometimes even millions of members) and portray themselves as an Ascended Master, God, etc.
In other words, many in the Spirit purposely orchestrate a deception.
Why?
Because being viewed as a god or God by those in the flesh is a HUGE EGO TRIP.
Physically beautiful people of both sexes give their lives to you and you are treated like a ROCK STAR. You get their love, their sexual energy, their affection, their eye candy, and their devotion.
Some of you may have trace memories of the Pagan orgies of long ago in the Roman Empire and elsewhere that you were a part of and/or witnessed on This Side or from the Other Side.
Who do you think was empowering and amplifying the sexual energies and lust when all that was going on?
That's right...Group Entities.
The Saints in the Higher Realms, especially the stable ones, oppose this common deception.
Anyone who claims to be a "god" or "ascended master" on the Other Side should be held in suspicion.
The more spiritually advanced the soul, the greater its ability to ascend into The Light after death and the more powerful it becomes.
True gods, which have yet to emerge, will be able to create their own youthful and beautiful bodies with God Force Light, and be able to maintain them in youth, health, and beauty indefinitely. No one around can do that because there are no Ascended Masters yet in this space time continuum.
Yus Asaf/Issa/Jesus was just an angel prophet. His Gifts of the Spirit were given to him from a large Group Entity in the Mid Realms, not by The Original Creator who has yet to come. That's why you don't see Issa around now, as he never evolved into God Realization or even Sainthood. I have other reasons to support this argument as well.
Although there are no Ascended Masters yet in the Spirit in this space-time continuum - the best we have are discarnate Saints at present - when a soul can create matter at will on an individual basis (as opposed to being in a large Group Entity), then that soul is God Realized, i.e., that soul has become a Co-Creator.
The only person that can SAVE YOU is YOURSELF.
YOU - not any Group Entity falsely portraying itself to be a god, God, or an Ascended Master - must face judgement in The Light Of The God Force after death. No false god (or even a real one) has the power to change Universal Law. We are all held accountable for our actions and must amend all karmic debts.
Strive to live by The Golden Rule, serve others, and you will be judged kindly in The Light and be able to ascend to a spiritual plane after death. Live a life of cruelty to innocents and you will be forced to stay in the hellish dimensions of the Lower Realms of Spirit.
Light and Dark.
Ultimately, the choice is up to us!

Is it me or did they misread your question? I am of the impression that man is self-destructing by nature. Therefore, it would seem that this God you speak of built faulty structures that are incapable of saving themselves. Then again, human beings might have more strength to them than I imagine. Individuals are very capable of producing ideas that better their existence. It's persuading the world that's a *****.
