Kebabs are good, on skewers. I would also recommend making pizza on a grill, it's great! Just buy pizza dough, grill one side, flip, add toppings and grill until it's done. Fun and delicious. It's also a healthier way to make "fried dough" if you just grill it. Then add sweet stuff -- fruit, whipped cream, powdered sugar, etc.

I would also recommend surfing the following sites for ideas (you can do searches that include "grilling" as a method): www.foodnetwork.com, www.epicurious.com, www.allrecipes.com

I like fish on the grill. It works just the same as in the oven or the grill. All you do is put a piece of fish on a piece of aluminum foil add butter or olive oil, some salt and pepper, old bay, and whatever seasonings you like. Then bring the ends of the foil up and fold them together so it makes a tent shape. Then add it to the grill. Usually 20 minutes is long enough. You could also add some zucchini and squash in another piece of tin foil, and some olive oil or butter, salt and pepper, and close it up the same way as the fish. It should take about the same time as the fish. Enjoy!!

Take a piece of Foil -- In the middle, add your meat (whatever kind), your vegetables (med/lg sized -- cut potatos into bite size), some oil & seasonings. Fold the foil and make sure every spot is tightly sealed. Cook packet on BBQ aprox 30 minutes and you will have your entire supper in it's own container -- no plates to clean up either! Carefully unfold the foil - don't rip it - that way if it is not completely done, you can seal it back up and cook it some more --PLUS -- if you unfold the foil, it will make a 'bowl'.

We use skewers (metal ones or wooden ones you get from the store). Then put pieces of chicken, beef, etc on the skewers and in between we put great stuff like: eggplant chunks, onion chunks, red pepper, green bell pepper, mushrooms,
I have even made apples this way (cinnamon & sugar yum).
Then for sauce we use teriaki, or just melted butter or stuff that is like the condiments you get in chinese restaurants like thai sauce etc. Try marinating in beer or wine. Try olive oil & spices.
