It really depends. If you grow up with cats from birth, most likely you will like cats better and vice versa. It also depends upon how a certain animal treats you. If a certain dog might have bit you once, you might have hate for dogs beyond all reason. it also depends upon the breed. You may love little fuzzy wuzzy ragdolls, and hate the dog breeds that shed all over your house. It really does depend upon all that.

I prefer cats because i have a cat but i dnt really mind dogs

I grew up with dogs! My father bred them you see and i've always had dogs, always will! I look after my friends two cats when she was away for a 4 weeks holiday abroad and found her cats were quite cool! They made me laugh, drove me crazy at times too (This nasty habit of running up voile curtains) and scratching everything part from their scratching posts!!! Including my dogs and i.
So i prefer dogs because, and in my mind, they are far more civilised than cats! Easier to bathe when they're dirty and simply the best for me!

Dogs! More of a companion. But, cats are easier to care for. You can leave them for hours with food, water & a litter box. The dog has to have a "sitter" of some description every time I go away.

i got 3 cats and 5 dogs ... i like dogs betta in the day and cats in the night .. i like it wen the cats sleep on my feet and keep them warm .. but the dogs keep u fit lol both are awesome

Definitely dogs..I have an allergy to cats. And dogs are mans best friend! They never argue with you either lol!

Cats. Much better. All sorts of reasons. But there are good arguments for both. I don't like dogs sniffing your crotch or being allowed to lick people after they've just licked their own bottoms or genitals. You see people "kissing" their mutts. Eewww. Good way to get worms and toxoplasmosis and such like.
That's the polite version.
