recently the row over the reservations in iit an iim, the decision of mahrashtra govt to start s schools as early as 12th of june,the inclusion of film stories in the syllabus, the deceision 2 make maths an english optional only indicate dat the respective authorities have completely gon INSANE> any body who sahres ma veiws

These are some of the bad effects of Globalization and politicization of the education. Education curriculum and students are easiest to be target by political parties to make their point and score brownie points from different quarters.

No one understand where is problem with reservations - is it concept or implementation of this. Similarly adding film stories and making maths and English optional to please a strata of the society who votes and pay money to these political parties to gather power.

So I fully agree with you that education about which boast around all the world is deteriorating and this way we will loose whatever position we have got in world.
