I am currently studying in the Middle East and all the Mosques around here have neon greel lights on the minarets. What is the significance of them and why green neon lights?

it's the color of plants it refers to the good things and to the peace.dislike the war it destroying every green plant ,so green is the color of peace.as Islam is the religion of peace.
