closer together and help fight hunger locally? I have been growing a veggie garden for several years, I plant more than I need and then give the excess to my neighbors and who ever would like or is in need of fresh food. My dream is to have everyone get involved in cities and neighborhoods all over the world, even growing a few plants on a balcony where ever there is a space that can be filled. To have some small victory over hunger do you think this idea could fly? Your comments are apreciated thank you in advance

Thank you very much stocksaloon ,I would gladly buy your eggs which cost you in feed / time and are in no way "free". My veggies you could have free if I lived near you. I do not sell them I am not a farmer though it takes a lot of my time I just love doing it.

Thats awesome. They are trying to shut a big one in LA--story would intrest you. I have a green thumb too. People are so used to fast cheap, unheathy food, they dont even have a taste for fresh food anymore. And in the getto's they dont even have produce available, no groceries, just liquer stores---called "food desserts or something. Good luck!

I was going to give you a smart as* answer but on reading your full statement I think your on the right track there,,what a kind hearted person you are that's a great idea,,but what gets me is ,I'm on a farm and have chooks,,I'm quite willing to barter with my friends who live in town,,but they want to "sell" me their veggies from their gardens,,they say I get my eggs for free,,I think I like your idea better,,,you give because you want to,,it comes from the heart.
