in my opinion clear is something you cannot miss the details when observing like a picture. it could also mean transparent .but see through is something that if put between you and something else you can be able to see that something else without moving that which is between you like glass

Well, the spelling for one, clear is sometimes blurry which can make it extremely hard to see-through and See-through well you can see through it.
