my english teacher is after my life.she wants me to take part in every debate competition.what do i do?

perform so badly by just being quite thru' out the debate that u'r people start throwing rotten eggs on u; then possibly u will never be in condition to go back to debate and even u ever get ready, u'r teacher won't do so.

the same thing once happened to me. But u must learn to say "no". I don't think that u should perform badly because anyone can make fun of u. If the teacher asks why u don't wanna take part in the debate then simply say that u have 2 go somewhere! well I am not sure that this idea will work or not but in my case this idea really worked!

She apparently has strong faith in your ability to communicate effectively and persuasively. Use those skills. Tell her you would rather not participate so frequently in these debate competitions. Give valid reasons: time, other commitments, too much stress, lack of interest or whatever applies in your situation. Remember that she really does have your best interests at heart; perhaps she has just become a little overzealous at what she feels is cultivating your talents. Whatever you do, don't make a mockery of both her and yourself by pretending to stink at debate in order to get out of it in the future (as was suggested above), you can get out of this with honesty.

Challenge her to a debate on whether or not you should be debating, taking the side that you shouldn't. If you win, you argued successfully that you shouldn't. If you lose, you've proven that you are not good enough for debating and hence shouldn't. Nice little paradox, no?
