I love my husband because we have been married for 17 years. In this day, 17 days is good and 17 months is a miracle. 17 years is unheard of. We have great respect for each other and sometimes when I don't want his advice and it makes me mad, I still listen and vice versa. We have learned we may both think differently, but we respect the others thoughts.

You love someone, be it a person, dog,cat whatever! Because you see qualities other people do not see, reason why you love as you do. Trouble is, where human beings are concerned, precious few return your love, certainly not as much as you would like them to!
Then loving someone is not exactly it, is it? Too many peole separate/divorce stating they still love the person if they have fallen out of love with them. Then you have another category ... People who love someone if they do not like them or their attitude.
I love my children, i adore them! It's not all about mother love, but also respect (Earned on both sides, me being a good mum to them, them proving they did deserve my respect), trust (Same as respect) and also so much more in common!
I love my dogs because they there are for me always, no matter what! Their love is unconditional and i couldn't live without them.
I love seeing my children, spending time with them but they are grown up now, have their own lives with their own partner and i respect that! As long as we talk on teh phone (They live quite away from me) chat on the net as well, and as long as i know that they are happy then i'm happy for them! Of course i feel even happier when they tell me that they're coming to see me!
I also love my best friend! Not not in a sexual manner! But as my best friend because she understands when i need company, while also respects my choice not to see anybody because i love my privacy! It works out because we both understand each other's needs. By the same token ... Should i need her or should she need me ... Obviosuly it would be a case of dropping everything, jump in the car and be there!
So i guess ... trust, respect, understanding and accepting the other person's needs, know that the person does the same!

Choice
I’d rather have the thought of you
To hold against my heart,
My spirit to be taught of you
With west winds blowing,
Than all the the warm caresses
Of another love’s bestowing,
Or all the glories of the world
In which you had no part.
I’d rather have the theme of you
To thread my nights and days,
I’d rather have the dream of you
With faint stars glowing,
I’d rather have the want of you,
The rish, elusive taunt of you
Forever and forever and forever unconfessed
Than claim the alien comfort
Of any other’s breast.
O lover! O my lover,
That this should come to me!
I’d rather have the hope of you,
Ah, Love, I’d rather grope for you
Within the great abyss
Than claim another’s kiss–
Alone I’d rather go my way
Throughout eternity.

My kids- they are adorable. They crack me up. You never know what is going to come out of their mouths. We can just be doing the simplest thing-like riding down the road, and they can say the most profound thing. I love the way they think about life and the world/people around them. Through a child's eye, huh?

I love my boyfriend.
We are in a long-distance relationship, and he lives 130 miles away.
I love the way that he calls me every morning, just to be sure I'm up and ready for my day. He calls me every night just to tell me "Goodnight" and that he loves me. He always makes me laugh whenever I feel like dying. He's an amazing cook, and I love to eat whenever I'm at his house. His smile lets me know everything is ok. I love how he calls me "Babe", even though its a common nickname, he's the only person who calls me that, and it's like our secret. Whenever he holds me in his arms, I feel the world stop and it's just me and him. He gives me chills the way he kisses me. He takes long romantic walks with me through the woods and under a bridge. He wishes me luck for every softball game I have. He sings our song to me all the time. Sometimes he leaves voicemails on my cellphone, and hes singing our song. He tells me he's "So glad he found me" and we have fights about who loves who more.
He is himself, and I love every bit of him.

I love my dog differently to humans, because her love for me is based solely on trust.
She never judges or bad mouths me, she never emotionally blackmails me, she merely trusts me and is always absolutely sure of me, and I wont betray that trust.
She knows I will not forget to feed her, or change her water, and clean her bed and bath her. She knows without asking, that I'll walk her every day.
And most of all, she knows that in a thunderstorm, or sudden serious situation, I will keep her safe and calm by being calm myself, so as not to scare her further.
And in return, she defends our territory and would die defending me.

what makes us adore dogs or our boyfriends is the thought that they need us and that we are taking care of them. it basically only because it makes us feel good about ourselves or because THEY love US. and the reason they love us is because we take care of them (dogs and boyfriends...) i think, perhaps, maybe. :)

Human love is all about control..
The more they let you have your way,the more they value your opinion, the more they look up to you and want to be near you,the more they don't mind it when you're crabby,THE MORE YOU LOVE THEM.
Which is why it's so easy to love children and pets and so hard to keep on loving adults...
But l also love my children for their personalities.
l like God's love much better--it's unconditional.
