I have recently started eating meat after 16 years of vegetarianism.
I love cooking and am having a party tonight where i intend serving greek salad. how should i cook the chicken breast so that i's not too dry yet full of flavour and not kill my mates!

i usually bake my chicken breasts in bags which i make from foil. Just fold the foil in half to make it double thickness, turn the edges over about 1 inch a couple of times to secure the sides, leaving one side open to pop in your chicken breast and any other ingredients you might want to add, such as white wine, mushrooms, onion, some lemon, the list is endless. Then seal the last side and there you have chicken in a bag! Its best to make the foil bag a good size, not tight to the chicken. As you cook the chicken the bag will expand, then deflate when you take it from the oven. Cooking the chicken this way ensures you don't loose any moisture at all and it stays nice and moist. Cook it for around half and hour, gas 6, but it wont hurt if you leave it a little longer because the bag prevents drying out. Once you take it from the oven leave the bag to rest for 5/10 minutes before opening.

First shame on you for going bakc to eating meat! I'm a very bad vegan and indulge occasionally in milk chocolate but would never ever go over to the darkside like that!!!

That said, onve very simple way to cook a succulent chicken is to literally cover it in salt (you might need one kilo or so). Don't worry, it won't be salty at all. Just cover it in salt till you can't see the dead bird no more and cook it as usual. It should be great. My parent cooked this when I was still a disgusting meat eater....

get the chicken breast, spice it dont remove the skin its so testy and makes the chicken tender because of its fat. Heat the vegetable oil in the sauce pan then drop in the chicken and cover until all the water from the chicken evaporates leaving just the oil to fry the chicken then uncover while frying and turn the chicken until golden brown. covering it after will help to cook even the born marow if you are cooking chicken with borns.

Easy recipe - marinade the chicken in Italian salad dressing for an hour before you plan to cook it. Remove from the dressing and either grill, bake or cook in skillet, basting with the dressing periodically until cooked through. Discard the rest of the marinade and enjoy!

i love this way even though its a bit of a pain

start by placing the chick breast in cling film and bashing it flat with a mallet/rolling pin, the get some nice crumbly cheese (i use feta) and put that in the middle of the chick and roll it up and wrap streaky bacon strip around it (use tooth picks to keep together if needed) then bake in the oven for 30/45 mins depending on breast size.

I put my chicken breasts in the oven at 200 degrees for half an hour. Sprinkle them with season all and mixed herbs and they will be really juicy and tasty when cooked.

Sauteed in frying pan with margarine & olive oil. About 10 minutes on each side. Preferrably chicken breast.

keep the skin on
place in baking dish
pour melted butter (BUTTER) all over it.
sprinkle with salt and pepper
bake at 350 until done (1.5 hours or so depending on thickness)

remove from oven, and let sit until cool enough to touch.

serve as is
or remove meat from the bone

have sauces and seasonings available at the table for your guest to enjoy.

I LIKE TO LAYER IT IN A MICROWAVE SAFE DISH, POUR SOME REAL BUTTER OVER IT WITH SOME LEMON, SALT AND A LITTLE WHITE PEPPER. COVER WITH THE COVER FROM THE DISH OR PLATE YOU ARE GOING TO USE AND COOK IT ON HIGH FOR ABOUT FIFTEEN MINUTES. YOU CAN ALSO MELT BUTTER IN A SMALL CUSTARD CUP AND SERVE TO EACH ONE OF YOUR GUESTS FOR DIPPING, WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT MAKES IT TASTE LIKE LOBSTER TAIL. I HAVE FOOLED MANY PEOPLE WITH THIS RECIPE. IF THEY DONT LIKE SEAFOOD LEAVE IT THE WAY YOU COOKED IT....WHAT TIME SHOULD I BE OVER FOR DINNER. HA HA HA

before you do anything check it's eyes, any sign of influenza then dump it, make sure the chicken has not got any flu medicine in it's bag prior to coming to you.
ask it has it got any last requests, before stuffing a whacking great lump of paxo up its jacksie.
force it to walk into the oven at gunpoint, tell it to lay down on the roasting dish.
turn up the oven,
and LIVE WITH YOURSELF FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
