before it becomes active it has no symptoms. It may be dormant as much as 10 years. You start having a low grade fever all the time, you are always nauseated, you develope skin leasions/ sores and boils, you loose a lot of weight, you get hemosepsis / blood disease over the slightest exposure to even bacteria that are benificial to most people. you look like pale death, you see the dr often, and we cannot even put your sorry *** away because some fool says homosexual diseases are special and cannot be publicy exposed... one homosexual can kill a hundred or more people before he knows he is dead.. some of them go out killing, knowing they have it..

the virus usually starts its activity about 3-6 weeks after first being exposed to it. the signs are: fever, sleepyness, eczema, and fu like symptoms.
due to this fact, the hiv infection usually remains undetected for quite a while.
as soon as the virus has been detected, the doctors will start an anti virus treatment that is going to keep the amount of viruses in your blodd down. however, the virus cannot be ki lled!!!!
now the first phase is over:
=> the 2nd one following usually does not show any symptoms att all and might take up to a few years.
=> the next step does show first sign of a weakening immune system = the first symptoms can be seen.
=> after about 10 years after the infection, the hi-virus reached its full extend. = full weakness of immune system.
=> most of the aids patients die because they are having a 'normal', non-leathal diesease fastly growing and e.g. producing a pneumonia.

if you think that you might have had contact with the virus, seek medical help now.

good luck

Firstly, you get tired a lot, lose weight, feel apathetic and you get frequent infections more than usual (cold, flu).
It could take months or even years for the first symptoms to show, depending on your immune system.
