oh and if you are looking for the question to ansewer just leave it to.

we'll if the person already knew thier choice would lead to them getting hit it will be thier choice.
everybody knows about religion and god. they know that if they are wrong they are going to hell. i am just saying that people have made their choce and you should respect that.

it is not like preaching to someone will make them say "OH!!! there is a god?"

people already know about it. just repect that. if they decide to change their belief to yours let them make it on their own when they are ready.

that is the thing. religion is a theory. we wont know till we die. everything we think about death and afterlife will always be a theory. just because you believe your theory to be truth that wont change the fact that it can't be proven.
so you can't say who is right or wrong.

and no someone wont just put a gun to my face because we have a thing called "laws" that prevent things such as that to happen. religion gives the people the fear of hell to keep them from shooting me but i just go by law, and the fact it is moraly wrong to shoot someone cutting thier life short and making their family and friends suffer.

I agree with you. We all have the right to choose what or who we want to believe in and people have to respect that!
I am a Christian and I believe that Jesus is the only way to God but that does not give me the right to force my belief on others.
The way I see it, my life as a Christian should express God's love in such a way, that people are drawn to Him even without me preaching or shoving the Bible down their throats!
I want God's goodness and mercy to shine through me in such a way, that it will create a desire in people to get to know Him!

because ur choices might efect others! now we could let yu choose yur own thing but that doesnt mean ur gonna choose rightly, next thing yu know those that went there own way have a gun in ur face cuz their choice was to sacrafice you for no reason and acomplishing nothing! but they wasnt ready to accept the trueth and ur gone so what does it take to be sure others dont end up like that?oh there was a god called the law of _love _and _wisdom and he was the _giver _of _direction!!see now?one u could say god is nothing but then nothing is just a word to describe something that you call nothing but its still something, and just because we have laws dont mean the other dummy will choose to follow that law till you can makem ready to agree that what yu think is nothing is still something that yu called nothing! and if man was _made _after _nothing then something that we call god that u call nothing made man because nothing was made into something and something made man and everything so something and nothing grew and the song sang with the spirit of god and u ask if he is _something _or _nothing and discover he is the son then yu wonder at the story of the sons death and if they accomplished something and something brings the child bac to a mothers womb and their pised off and full grown children of god ask yu why dont yu just beleive in the son and the laws he gave us?nobody needs to die

Accepting choices is something we all must do, but to ask a person to "respect" a choice that will send them to eternal torment would be nonsense! If by "respect" you mean that each person should believe the other's faith is equally valid, that, too, is nonsense.

Let's say you have 4 different faiths (yes, I know there are actually millions) and you want to state which are true and which are false. The significant word here is "different" - so different that many points of each faith contradict at least some of the others' most critical doctrine.

What can be said about these faiths and still be true? It can be said that ALL of them are false and that statement could possibly be true. You could say that one is true and the rest are false and that might be true. But you could NEVER say that 2 or more of them can be true!

If there is a God (which God, Himself, said is self-evident, that is why He doesn't defend His existance in Scripture) then we can seek out the evidence He has left for us, OR we can spend years speculating what IDEAS are most appealing to us, and gratifying to our flesh and comfort zone.

Right now the world is in such a dangerous place trying to reconcile good and evil, believing that people who have doctrines of hate and murder have just as valid a picture of God as those whose adherents spend their lives in loving service to others.

Until recent decades, Americans viewed self-centeredness as an evil, unpleasant attribute to be shunned. Now psychologists tell us we don't love ourselves ENOUGH! So, why are we always seeking comfort if we don't love ourselves? We would want to mistreat ourselves as we often do to others if we loved ourselves as little as we love others.

We love ourselves much TOO highly. And it is that self-image we don't want anyone to bruise, so we avoid contention with the next person and tell them that God is whoever we conceive Him to be as well as whoever the other person conceives Him to be.

But your conscience bears witness that this just can NOT be! God is an absolute. He is God! He is NOT whatever we want to imagine Him to be. Just like your mortgage payment is not what you "imagine" it to be! Maybe only $5.00 this month, next month $2 ... no, your mortgage payment is a reality which is defined by your contract.

God is a reality which is defined by Himself, and NO ONE ELSE! Our job, as the part of creation which was created in His image is to discover what HE says about Himself AND about what He says about US!

There are reliable resources, none of which reside in an altered state of consciousness.

There is much more to say about God and our responsibilities toward Him and our fellow man, but a person is not ready for it until he realizes that he MUST NOT attempt to create God in man's image! God is NOT part of man's imagination. To create such a God is idol worship.

Some view God as ONLY a God of love. That is not true. God has many attributes, of which Love is only one of the whole. If your God never judges, then you worship a false god. You just CAN NOT have the truth by making up a smorgasbord god, taking a little of this and a little of that from a buffet of designer god goodies.

Seek ye first the true Kingdom of God and HIS righteousness. It's your only hope.

no. no you say? yeah! no!

listen, i understand that peace is the best thng but in the case of religion i disagree. religions, beleive it or not, are dangerous. they separate people, they cause wars, they cause death...i refuse simply to sit back and allow people to propagate religion.

its like saying "cancer. lets have a truce!" no way. we dont need religion anymore! were an advanced society. the only places that need religion (for social stability) are places like the middle east where people are still "cave man stupid".

its like saying "let the racists be racist" say nothing when racist people go around spouting hate. see how long it takes before a groupd of people begin thinking its okay to go around spewing racist remarks. atheism is a check on theism (mainly the judeo christian/catholoc religion). much like the government we need checks and balances.

if you knew that by the choices someone made, that they were going to get hit by a car , would you try to help this person to not get hit? or would you just say , well it's their choice? why should if be any different when it come to the Truth of God?

DUDE, what a RADICAL NOTION!
I hope it catches on!!

Oh, by the way, I am a Christian, and I would like to see other people choose to be disciples of Christ...but only if it is THEIR OWN CHOICE.

Unfortunately, there are people who will only respect your choice if they agree with it or if it suits them. But, choices and personal preferences should be respected by others.

i can respect any choice as long as you don't choose to shove it down my brain.
for example i don't believe in god but i disagree with johnny here.
the racist example? people are racist because they don't understand, no one will be racist just because they see other people doing it. many kids of racist parents aren't racist, if they were the civil rights movement never would have happened.
