hi friends
my friend give me server 2003 cd in this cd 3 version of 2003 all works properly and size of this 3 virsions more than 1.5 Gb files r there and its all r in 700 mb single cd , how it can be possible ? can i write this type of cds ? how ? any software ? give me name .pls

Maybe it's been compressed loads. Or maybe the CD has more space than you think.

The files on the program CD were compressed or .zipped.
You can do the same if you compress all your data, but the data is not usable in this form like a regular data CD.
If you look at the CD with Windows Explorer you will see the extensions on the files are not as you normally use.

no, that would obviously not work, try creating CAB files of the file you want to copy, then put the data on 2 or 3 discs. Otherwise, get a DVD Writer, and put the data on a DVD disc. A DVD disc can take about 4.5 GIG of data.

I had that happen with my CD burning too. Not sure how, it just happens. Maybe they state the minimum space on the label to be accurate in case of someone burning each track in a separate burn that might make it take up that space faster.

i dont think it is. you cant put 1500 gallons of water in a 700 gallon tank. it just doesent makse sense. the only way i can think of how it would work is if you compressed the files, but i dont think theyd compress that much.

there may be some missing files.
also, cds greater than 700 mb are available.
