Pennsylvania or Western NY they stock alot of trout in booth area's some creeks and rivers run into the other state and offer excellent trout fishing. If you need directions you can contact me at bmck33@yahoo.com, I'm a die hard bass fisherman but I enjoy doing some trout fishing in the early spring.

For my vote it would be the sierra mountains in california.lake such as Crowley,Bridgeport, and Virginia (too many in the area to mention) and numerous streams make this an ideal area to trout fish.
