But you can't/shouldn't hold a person responsible for that which they don't know.
After all I/we get the tendacy of exercising & practicing that which I/we were tought.
That's why there are sooooooooo many
prejudice people in the world today, Being tought the wrong values.
EXAMPLE: I have a beautiful American Red Nosed "Pit Bull Terrior", & their very agressive dogs naturally.
Their born with that killer instinct.
Therefore a breed of that nature is going to find
it rather confusing being "TOTALLY STRIPED"
of all that He/She Knows, just to be excepted into Society.
But there are times that lifes Duties/Requires
call for that extra effort applied for the right cause.
We as parents have to know when to exercise that knowledge.
And it's the kids responsibility to ask questions.
That's what kids do best.

Most of us can't afford to serve humanity. We have mortgage, car payments, bills, house to clean, lawn mowing, laundry and the list continues... :-}
There are great personal rewards to be found serving others. But in this modern world, for the most part, our belongings own us and we serve our belongings. For the most part but not always.

Well, people are different ones to others. Perhaps they find what they are looking for in such ways. They can question your ways too. I think the best way is to except the differences with an open mind.

because of personal enjoyment, i mean sure serving humanity would be alot better but that requires work and ppl are jus lazy and wanna do things that click in their minds

materialism unfortunately is more fun,besides serving humanity doesn't work,its a dirty,thankless,job which effectuates few good things.
