I live in England and i'm currently growing chilli plants outside. This got me to thinking about what else I could easily grow outisde? Remember, I live in cold and wet England so please don't just list everything-and bear in my mind alot of things which can be grown in the U.S won't survive hear as its not anywhere near as hot sadly!!

i would thing cabbage, cauliflower, butternut, (i think these are winter veg's. just check i could be wrong) potatoes, tomatoes (if you have any rotten potatoes & tamatoes just throw them in the garden and it will grow. also pumkin seeds will just grow. good planting

Just go to a small village and look into the gardens...

Or go into a DIY market and look at the seeds sold, speak to the staff.

I would expect berries, beans and salads to grow well.

I'm pretty sure root vegetables like potatos, carrotts, parsnips and turnips are easy to grow. Best thing to do is go to your local garden centre and ask their advice.
