To a certain degree..YES!...The Internet started out as BBS's and you would literally have to call random numbers to hook up to another persons computer or server....And do you know what they did from there? They traded pornography, pirated software, and games....The Internet contains so much porn it is impossible to count. IN a nutshell.. That is what the Internet is for.. Porn....And e-mail to solicit porn and porn products.. Its when people like you and children who come on here to get educational value and some form of entertainment that is really the trouble.... This would be like if you went into a Porn store and were pissed the store contained porn in the first place... Whoever gave you the idea that the main use for the Internet was education or finding little funny videos to share led you on.. Most people are here to either look at porn, or in an attempt to get laid in any desperate measure...
