The Baha'i Writings. When I was born I was christened Lutheran. When I was 21 I finally got around to asking myself what I thought about the whole thing. I decided, I didn't know if God DIDn't exist; so, I must be an agnostic (one who doesn't know). At the same year, I met my first Baha'i, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Two years later, I read about the Baha'i Faith in the Religions column of Newsweek Magazine. Two years later, I hear Vic Damone being interviewed on the radio by a disk jockey, and agreed with the 12 Basic Principles he was sharing from the Baha'i Faith. Two years later, I me Dizzie Gillespie at the Lighthouse Jazz Club in Hermosa Beach, California. He taught me a little about the Faith (he'd been a Baha'i for four (4) weeks at that time. He introduced me to Baha'is in my town (Redondo
Beach, California), and after studying constantly for two (2) months to disprove the Faith to myself, I couldn't deny the truth of the claim of the Faith, and became a Baha'i. That was 38 years ago. I now live in China, and what a ride it's been! I am only sorry, I didn't investigate it further when I was in Alaska. I wasted 9 years of my life not being a Baha'i. I think I was unconsciously searching. My heart knew it; but, my head didn't.

I was raised in the Lutheran church, and since became Catholic. I'm still searching and learning, and plan to keep at it. I will never know everything HE has for me to learn. I just hope I don't need the same lessons over and over. I also pray that I can instill in my children the thirst for God's love.
As far as knowing I'm right... it's called FAITH.
So far, with the research and studies I've been involved in, there is nothing to disprove any of the Bible, and even science that backs it up!!

man alone among the animals has the ability to question.
a god who created man but left instructions that man should not use his unique gift, but follow some revealed truth, would be an imbecile and a trickster (and not worth my time).
as soon as someone tells you that they have all the answers you know that they are both lying and enemies of intelligence, honesty, and fairness.

I was raised Baptist but chose Catholicism myself. I feel Christ truly is present in the Eucharist. I can not enter into his presence and not feel him.I feel peace and love and acceptance in the Catholic faith.
