yes for sure, losing weight is burning fats and carbohydrates, and for the body to go in that burning process it needs many vitamins to do that. the B vitamins are the most important vitamins in the krebs cycle(carbohydrate burning cycle), and for fats to burn it needs acetyl CoA ,folic acid is the precusor for that enzyme,
those are just examples and there are many other vitamins like the C vitamin ,and generally all vitamins are in the process of losing fats

Vitamin B12 is suppose to work great in helping people lose weight. If you look it up on the web you will find that they even give ppl that are morbidy obese injections of this vitamin for that reason. Boy I sure wished they said ice cream and hot fudge were .....lol Good Luck with your question hope this helped.

Yes there are many vitamins that are part of the metabolism process. It's good you are thinking of this because it seems a lot of people don't.
Check out the book "Complete Idiots Guide to Vitamins and Minerals"---it's very informative about supplements and about what foods have the vitamins necessary for energy.

No they won't. If you exercise and eat healthy, you'll do just fine. Most people don't even need supplements and some (i.e. too many fat soluble vitamins) can cause real damage. For a teenager, I'd always advise to ask a doctor first before popping any kind of pills and ALWAYS be very skeptical of what advertisers tell you.
